As the Founder & CEO of World Advisory, Alexander Johnstone is responsible for managing the company’s operations as well as overseeing its growth and direction.

Johnstone founded The World Advisory Company in 2010 in Washington, D.C.

He began by simply reaching out to small business owners and asking how he could help. He soon found an incredibly under served population of people that want to pursue their passions, but know little about building a business.

Over the course of several years, Johnstone personally worked with hundreds of small business owners and listened closely to their concerns. Eventually he developed a personalized and affordable consulting service to help people start and grow businesses.

Through Johnstone’s guidance and assistance, his clients were able to save time and money, avoid making mistakes, receive expert advice and professional assistance, and have someone there for them in times of need.

Many small business owners are self-funded and the assistance available to them has been expensive and unreliable. Johnstone established World Advisory to provide these individuals with the professional help they need without breaking their limited budgets.

His goal is for World Advisory to make entrepreneurship more accessible to all individuals and make it easier and more enjoyable for anyone to start and grow a business.

Johnstone graduated from Florida State University, where he serves on the Young Alumni Development Council.

He lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife Michelle and their son Bennett.

Avi Lichtenstein
Business Consultant

As a Business Consultant of World Advisory, Avi Lichtenstein is an expert in strategy and organic growth.

Avi has worked in various capacities including, but not limited to: Project Manager for an international consultancy, with clients in the healthcare, tech and automotive industries; Project Coordinator, creating and overseeing international wealth management events; Head of Strategy Development and Implementation for a co-living startup; and a PR Consultant for an economic growth and expansion project for the Ukrainian government.

Throughout his career, he has been committed to aiding underprivileged youth reach their potential, working with them through various programs in the US and in Israel, calling on his personal background and experience to generate real social change.

Avi received his BA in Business Management & Conflict Resolution, graduating with honors from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Israel. Prior to his enrollment, Avi served as a reconnaissance squad Sargent in the Israeli Defense Force.

He currently resides in New York City.

Heather Mahoney
Business Consultant

Heather Mahoney has 15+ years’ experience in HR and Organizational Management, working primarily in the profit, non-profit and government sectors.

In addition to serving as a Business Consultant of World Advisory, she is the Founder of Success Strategies Advisors, Inc., a South Florida-based consultancy dedicated to driving company success to ‘new heights’ by revitalizing their strategic vision and workplace culture.

She is also a Certified Passion Test® for Business Facilitator and regularly uses the Passion Test® — the #1 tool used world-wide to gain clarity on one’s passion or purpose, with her clients.

To this end, she offers workshops for HR professionals and business leaders, as well as for individuals & entrepreneurs in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. A Distinguished Toastmaster, Heather is a passionate about communications.

For the past five years, she has served on the Board of the South Florida Organization Development Network and today acts as its President. She also sits on the African American Advisory Committee in the City of Hollywood.

Cristiane Madureira

Cristiane Madureira is a Business Consultant, Serial Entrepreneur and Business Coach.

She has worked with small businesses and startups since 2005, helping entrepreneurs achieve their business goals in a variety of ways (diagnostic, strategic planning, implementation, and control, finances, loan analysis, processes, team management).

Originally from Brazil, she speaks Portuguese, English, and is currently studying Spanish. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidade Estácio de Sá in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Cristiane currently resides in the Washington, D.C. area.

He makes himself an asset and a resource, because he has a hunger for empowering those around him. Clients, associates, partners and colleagues across the globe often refer to him as the ‘Connector of Dots’ due to resourcefulness and a knack for fostering longstanding relationships.

To DeWon, design is much more than just structures, it’s a network of concepts & ideas coordinated as an expression. He utilizes his inexhaustible imagination and design finesse to create extraordinary blueprints for buildings, business and life.

DeWon holds professional degrees in Business Management (AAS-T), Architectural Engineering Design (AAS-T, currently working on my B.Arch) and Horticulture-Landscape Design (AAS-T).

He currently lives in the Seattle, WA area.

Cheryl Robbins

Cheryl Robbins is a detail oriented Business Consultant who exemplifies customer service and will combine efficiency, relationship building and highly developed communication skills to support your business success.

She has over a decade of entrepreneurial experience in both her own business endeavors and helping others start and grow businesses.

Cheryl has a BA in Psychology from College of Santa Fe, holds many certifications in business, real estate, and technology and is also fluent in Spanish.

Fred Mutyaba

From Kampala, Uganda, Fred Mutyaba is the first international Business Consultant of World Advisory!

As the capital and largest city in the African nation of Uganda, Kampala is one of the fastest growing cities in the world.

Fred will be managing World Advisory’s operations in Kampala through hosting our Small Business Networking events, forming Partnerships, working with local entrepreneurs, and helping our Clients to start and grow businesses.

Fred grew up in the small Ugandan village of Luweero and began working at 8 years old to pay his way through school. His passion for entrepreneurship led him to receive a degree in Business Administration from UMCAT Kampala School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Fred is a very talented musician and was invited to perform guitar in Europe, which became a life changing experience for him. While in Europe, he participated in a business coaching training program that inspired him to motivate and help fellow young Africans in business.

With a belief that the sky is the limit and with his heart set on helping others to change their lives, it’s Fred’s ultimate goal to become Africa’s leading Business Coach.

We’re thrilled to be working with Fred and to have him leading us into this new phase for World Advisory in Uganda.
